Commonly referred to as uplift breast surgery or mastopexy, this procedure raises and and firms the breast by removing the excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.

What kind of scars does it involve?

There will be scars around the nipple, vertically from the nipple down to the bottom of the breast and depending on the technique used a third scar running along the underside of the breast, just above the fold beneath the breast.

What are the risks involved with this procedure?

Aside  from risks involved with a surgical procedure, there are specific risks associated with this procedure which involve scarring, loss of sensation of the nipple and wound healing problems.
