The BRA Foundation has already taken on its first major project by creating this website but it doesn\’t stop here for us. There are many exciting projects we would like to tackle, all of which we believe would better support women through this difficult time. We would like to offer all this online information in many differents formats (booklets, mobile apps) so people can take it with them, plus provide links to related organisations and literature.
We are desperate to raise public awareness about a woman\’s right to reconstruction, so that people know that support exists and where to find it.
We want to give women other channels to ask us questions and to put them in touch with each other through the use of message boards and social networking.
And we\’d love to create a range of post surgery lingerie that is as beautiful as the women wearing it. So you can see, we aim high!
